I'm not going to lie, I was upset when my New Year's Eve plans failed. However, I was hit with the realization that maybe...just maybe it wasn't meant for me to drive 12 hours to ring in the new year. My 20 minute drive was well worth it and was probably ended up being one of the greatest ways to kick a half-way shitty year out the door and say hello to a new beginning. For those of you that went to big, elaborate parties...or maybe not elaborate, maybe loud, obnoxious and dirty.....congratulations. I spent New Year's Eve with five people that mean the world to me. Honestly, if I look at it each one of them are amazing friends and have been friends to me throughout significant times in my life. Love them...meant it. |

| I haven't written in here in a long time. I now have finished the first half of my junior year and I'm right on schedule to graduate in 3 more semesters. At the beginning of the semester I was so ready to pack my bags and go home. Now I sit in my semi-empty apartment in Nashville hesitant to leave. I've dropped off my friends at the airport, the friends I'm with every single day and make this place worth staying. That's the thing about living on-campus, you're with your friends 24/7. When you leave for a break it leaves you empty because you're suddenly not with them. No matter how much you want to go home...it's not the same. I don't know where my life is going these days. I do know I like where I'm at. I like who I'm with. And I like that I can see the light at the end of the tunnell. That light being the termination of chemistry and business law! By the way, if anyone knows of anywhere this poor girl can work over Christmas break in the tri-cities please let me know. I will do anything. |

| I just went to the Greek Festival at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. So much fun! People need to get out and do more cultured things such as this. I'm mainly talking to myself when I say that. |
